Bay State Enterprises Now a Division of Polyfoam
After a twenty year partnership together, Polyfoam Corporation recently purchased Bay State Enterprises and its line of paint booth filters. As a customer of Polyfoam, Bay State looked to the company not only as a manufacturer but as an engineering resource to help develop product improvements. Polyfoam’s engineering team designed the Super Baffler paint booth filter, and with its increased effectiveness it quickly became the fastest seller of the product line.
The filters are used by a multitude of industries, and have several benefits over competing materials. The Super Baffler allows the user is to eliminate hazardous waste disposal costs, which can be an enormous savings. It’s over 98% efficient in removing overspray, and with proper care can last 5-20 times longer than ordinary filters. And unlike other filters, the Super Baffler can be reused.
The Super Baffler is also a safer alternative than ordinary filters because the risk of fire is reduced. There is less static resistance, it is non-combustible and meets all UL1 standards. End-users also like the fact that it is highly visible in the booth and fits tightly, directly into the frame so it doesn’t pull down.
